About Chieti Classica
From the 1st to the 20th of July 2026, the historic city of Chieti will once again come alive with music as it hosts the 9th edition of the Chieti Classica International Music Festival, an immersive celebration of music, education, and artistic discovery at the very heart of Italy.
Welcoming young musicians alongside some of today’s most distinguished international artists, the festival offers a wide variety of courses and masterclasses, led by a faculty that includes such names as cellist Alexander Chaushian, violinists Pavel Berman, Eva Bindere and Dora Schwarzberg, tenor Fabio Armiliato, violist Zvi Carmeli, and pianist Giuliano Mazzoccante.
Moreover, adding an exciting interdisciplinary dimension, Chieti Classica 2026 will also host a special theatre workshop led by the acclaimed Massimo Di Michele, from the 6th to the 11th of July, which will be open to both young students and experienced practitioners.
